TGDA PROJECTS FEATURED IN PLANTING IN A POST-WILD WORLD

November 1, 2015

Planting in a Post-Wild World: Designing Plant Communities for Resilient Landscapes by Thomas Rainer and Caudia West, features 2 of TGDA's projects.

The Mercy Lakefront Housing - Schiff Residences project was used as and example of: "how a literal frame around plantings, in the form of some a clearly defined edge, is the most effective way to make a wild planting appear intentional and fitted to the site."

The University of Chicago - South Campus Utility Plant: "A street-side planting by Terry Guen Design Associates uses a formal row of hornbeams and linear blocks of low perennials create an orderly entry."
