Terry Guen nominated to serve on the federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP)

Terry is honored to have been appointed by President Barack Obama, as a member of the federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. She is the second landscape architect to serve on the Council since Lawrence Halprin, who was appointed by President Lyndon B. Johnson, to the first Advisory Council in 1967. Terry looks forward to contributing her expertise in sustainable design, landscape and urban design to the Council, which advises national policy and promotes preservation, enhancement and sustainable use of America’s Historic resources, including the America’s Great Outdoors Initiative.
